इस दिन मुख्य रूप से चन्द्रमा की पूजा होती है। ऐसी मान्तया है की चन्द्रमा की पूजा से जीवन में सुख में समृद्धि बनी  रहती है और भावी जीवन सुखमय होता है।  

यदि करवा चौथ के दिन आप विधि विधान के साथ पूजा करेंगी तो ये आपके जीवन के लिए तो अच्छा ही है और इससे पत्ति  की लम्बी उम्र का आशीर्वाद भी मिलता है। आइये जानते है करवा चौथ में पूजा की सही विधि के बारे में। 

करवा चौथ का व्रत कैसे किया जाता है। 

1 . जो स्त्रियां करवा चौथ का व्रत करती है उन्हें इस दिन सूर्यादय से पहले उठना चाहिए। 

2 . यदि आप सरगी का पालन करती है तो इसे सूर्यादय से पूर्व ही खाए। 

3. सरगी का पालन करने वाली महिलाये करवा चौथ के दिन सबसे सरगी का सेवन करे। पानी पिए और भगवन की पूजा करके पुरे दिन के लिए निर्जला व्रत का संकल्प लें। 

4. शाम के समय पूजन करते हुए पत्ती की  दीघार्यु की कामना करते हुए चन्द्रमा से प्रार्थना करे और व्रत का पारण करे। 

करवा चौथ की पूजा विधि 

1. करवा चौथ को पुरे दिन निर्जला उपवास रखे। रात्रि में पूजन के समय सोलह शृंगार करके तैयार हो और दिवार पर करवा चौथ की पूजा का चित्र बनाए या बाजार से लाया हुआ चित्र लगाए। 

2. चावल के आटे में हल्दी मिलकर आयापन बनाएं और इससे जमीन पर सात घेरे बनाते हुए चित्र बनाये। जमीन में बने इस चित्र के ऊपर करवा रखे और इसके ऊपर नया दीपक रखे। करवा में 21 सिंकें लगाए और करवा के भीतर बताशे, चुरा और साबुत अनाज डालें। 

3. करवा के पुर रखे दीपक को प्रज्ज्वलित करे।  इसके पास आटे की बानी पूड़िया. खीर. हलवा. पकवान और भोग की सभी सामग्रियां रखे। 

4. इस पूजा में मुख्य रूप से चावल के आटे का प्रसाद तयार किया जाता है और व्रत खोलते समय जल के बाद सबसे पहले इसी प्रसाद को ग्रहण करना चाहिए। 

5. करवा  के साथ आप सुहाग की सामग्री भी चढ़ा सकती है। यदि आप सुहाग की सामग्री चढ़ा रही है तो सोलह शृंगार चढ़ाये। करवा के पूजन के साथ एक लोटे में जल भी रखे इससे चन्द्रमा को अघर्य दिया जाता है पूजा करते समय करवा चौथ व्रत की कथा का पाट करे। 

6. चाँद निकलने के बाद छलनी की ओर से पत्ती को देंखे फिर चाँद के दर्शन करे। चन्द्रमा को जल से अघर्य दे और पत्ती की लम्बी उम्र की प्रार्थना करे।

 1.  Women who observe Karva Chauth fast should get up before sunrise on this day.

 2 .  If you follow sargi, then eat it before sunrise.

 3. Women who follow Sargi should consume the most Sargi on the day of Karva Chauth.  Drink water and worship the Lord and take a vow of Nirjala fast for the whole day.

 4. While worshiping in the evening, pray to the moon while praying for the long life of the leaf and break the fast.

 1. On Karva Chauth, keep fast for the whole day.  At the time of worship in the night, get ready by doing sixteen make up and make a picture of Karva Chauth worship on the wall or put a picture brought from the market.

 2. Mix turmeric in rice flour to make dimensions and draw seven circles on the ground with it.  Get it done over this picture made in the ground and place a new lamp on it.  Put 21 sinks in the karva and put batashe, chura and whole grains inside the karva.

 3. Light the lamp kept at the end of the ritual.  Beside it, there is a Bani puri of flour.  Kheer.  Sweet.  Keep all the ingredients of the dish and bhog.

 4. In this puja, rice flour prasad is prepared mainly and this prasad should be taken first after water while breaking the fast.

 5. Along with Karwa, you can also offer suhaag items.  If you are offering suhaag material, then offer sixteen make-up.  Along with the worship of Karva, water is also kept in a lotus, it is offered to the moon, while worshiping, the story of Karva Chauth fasting should be fulfilled.

 6. After the moon comes out, look at the leaf from the side of the sieve and then see the moon.  Offer water to the moon and pray for the long life of the leaf.
